Patrick Farrugia is Chairman of HDI-BB and is an accomplished Executive Director with over 30 years of experience in the investment, development, and management of high-profile hospitality hotel and tourism projects and ventures across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
Pre HDI, Patrick practiced as a corporate lawyer and partner in a major Australian legal firm (Thomsons) specializing in mergers and acquisition, major property transactions and development. During his tenure Patrick's major clients were across Australia and offshore. Throughout his career, Patrick has cultivated strategic partnerships and joint ventures with international private and publicly listed companies, facilitating scale ($100m+) hospitality and hotel transactions in Asia Pacific.
Mark Daley

HDI-BB Regional Director, Mr Mark Daley, is a seasoned Fortune 500 executive, with extensive experience in global markets, branded retail and consumer products.
Born and raised in Asia, combined with a career that has given him the opportunity to live and operate businesses throughout the world, Mark brings unique insight to his roles through his strong understanding of the markets he operates in and the focus on the executional strategies he develops. From publicly traded companies to start ups, Mark has added value and created shareholder value based on targeted outcomes. Mark has been involved in multiple restructurings, acquisitions, territorial expansions, and strong exits.

Scott Woroch, has been in the luxury lodging business for the last 30 years, working for leading luxury hotel brands (Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Westin Hotel Company), and as well for hotel investors (Starwood Capital, Strategic Hotel Capital, and Access Industries).
For most of his career, Scott has been responsible for the growth and expansion of hotel brands globally - leading Four Seasons from 55 to 95 hotels during his 15 year tenure with Four Seasons, first in Asia, and then as Executive Vice president, Worldwide Development in Toronto, and then in London.

Ian has worked on numerous hotel and high rise residential projects. A well known and respected industry figure on the Gold Coast, Ian specialises in Development and Project Management Services. Ian’s early involvement in projects with strategic advice helps ensure the overall project success.
