Hotel Development International (HDI) was originally established as a project advisory vehicle co-founded by Knight Frank Expotel. HDI is now focused and specialises in transaction origination, investment, project management and development of mixed use urban, city and resort hotel projects in Asia Pacific.

PROject Investment

HDI and partners invest equity in mixed use, urban city real estate development projects. Primarily, HDI’s focus is on large scale real estate assets with lodging and hospitality uses, including residential.

transaction origination & SITE ACQUISITION

HDI for itself and in conjunction with partners and on behalf of private clients, will participate in on and off market processes, and is equipped to conduct due diligence with respect to either acquisition of existing properties or new project developments.

HDI, in conjunction with its US and European partners, is in a position to participate in scale hospitality and lodging operating businesses and transactions in Europe and the USA.

 

FINANCING

HDI through its preferred investment banking channels and project partners, is in a position to assist in capital raising and procuring finance for its own projects and that of its investment partners.

HDI has an extensive network and relationships with major Australian capital and financial institutions enabling HDI to assist in structuring complex financial transactions either for acquisitions or major developments.

 

OPERATOR PROCUREMENT

HDI advises partners and clients during the investment process with respect to the selection and procurement of hotel operators for dedicated lodging projects.

HDI and partners has close and extensive relationships with a number of global hotel operators through previous experience and dealings across Asia Pacific and transactions in Europe and USA.

HDI through its preferred consulting channels of advisors is able to procure legal, tax and financial advice for private clients in relation to commercial real estate transactions across the Asia Pacific region.
